The most effective way to detoxify it is with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), which results in sodium cyanid (Neon) and water.

Used as an insecticide and rodenticide (killing coyotes, foxes, and wild dogs) (fumigating trucks and post-harvest application to fruit trees).
